Well, I have returned from yet another tour of the East Coast of the US. The tour started in Concord, NH and ended in Charlotte, NC. In between those two shows were about nine others, and it was a truly great experience. They say most things get better with age, though I’m not sure who “they” are. But I believe that sentiment. This was my fourth East Coast tour, though there have been several shorties mixed in my schedule as well, and I have to say it was the best one to date.

There’s something that has always intrigued me about driving around our country. Even before I was able to do it, the thrill of having a bag packed and getting ready to just GO was something that I longed for and appreciated.

I had the pleasure of playing a handful of venues that I had played previously, and it was great to see some familiar faces. There were a few new spots on the schedule as well, and it sure was a good time.

SO, what’s next? Well, I have another packed schedule of shows for November, kicking it off in Manchester NH at Studio 550 on Elm Street, with Timothy Jackson Scott, and Juliana Cable opening up the show. That should be a real nice time. I’m sure you saw the flyer for it on the intro page of the website. Speaking of websites, I think it’s about high time I have a new website made. Think I deserve it!

The next album is shaping up better than I could hope for, and I can’t wait to get cracking on it in December. I kept my schedule light for that month so I can dedicate a great amount of it to the new record, and I couldn’t be happier about the songs.

Confident and poignant, his songwriting has greatly benefited from years practice, perseverance, and, perhaps, a little breathing room. The album flows with an ease and elegance that the listener has been waiting for throughout the course of his recording career.”
